In the vast expanse of the South Downs, I find myself losing time and space; losing myself entirely. It’s a quiet surrender, where the contours of the land and the shifting light become an invitation to escape, to wander without aim. In these beautiful, open fields, there’s a stillness that calls me deeper into the landscape, where the rhythm of the earth pulses beneath my feet and the sky seems to stretch infinitely above.

Meet The Photographer
Ellis Skelton is an award winning 18 year old photographer with a passion for capturing the great British landscape. Born with a keen eye for natural beauty, Ellis has found his muse in the ever-changing seasons and breathtaking natural landscape that adorns East Sussex.
Ellis has always had a fascination for witnessing magnificent sky formations and capturing the interplay of light and shadow across the beautiful landscapes he visits. For Ellis, photography is not merely capturing images but a way of connecting to the world around him. Through the lens of his camera; he seeks to evoke emotion and inspire others to see the world through a different perspective inviting people to pause and reflect at the beauty that surrounds them.
Despite his young age, Ellis's talent has not gone unnoticed. His work has garnered recognition and acclaim across the country winning awards in international competitions such as Standard Chartered Weather Photographer Of The Year and the UK Landscape Photographer Of The Year. His photographs have been exhibited throughout the UK, captivating audiences with their raw beauty in galleries such as The Mall in London and railway stations across the country on show in front of thousands.
As Ellis continues to study photography at college and explore the boundless wonders of the UK landscape, one thing remains certain: his journey has only just begun.
